Recipe of Mughlai Chicken
This is a dish for special occasions—not because it takes a long time to make or requires several pricey ingredients, but because it is rich and somewhat decadent tasting. The recipe’s mild, thick, creamy gravy is inspired by the food of Central Asia and came to India during the rule of the famous Mughal dynasty. Cook this dish and enjoy it, and you may actually feel like royalty yourself!
Ingredients:
Chicken | 350 gm |
Desi ghee | 2 tbsp |
Ginger fine chop | 1 tsp |
Green chilli fine chop | ½ tsp |
Mughlai gravy | 200 gm |
Garam masala | ½ tsp |
Method:
- Heat ghee in a pan add ginger, green chilli and chicken sauté for 5 min. on low heat.
- Now add Mughlai gravy and 100 ml water cover and cook for 20 min .on low heat.
- Sprinkle garam masala and garnish with green coriander.
- Serve with Indian bread.
