In a remarkable demonstration of culinary prowess and unyielding teamwork, the National Finishing and Cookery Institute – NFCI attempted record of making 2201 chutneys across 15 locations in less than 75 minutes and has achieved an extraordinary feat. This incredible accomplishment is a testament to the enduring passion, creativity, and dedication inherent in the NFCI family.
Our culinary marathon spanned across NFCI’s Pan India branches, covering Punjab, Haryana, Uttar Pradesh, Himachal Pradesh, and Karnataka. Each location buzzed with innovation and enthusiasm, echoing our collective celebration of the diverse flavors of Indian cuisine.
The exquisite array of chutneys crafted showcased a vibrant palate of flavors, ranging from traditional ingredients like mint, coriander, amla, and tamarind to more unique choices like kundru, beetroot, papaya, and pomegranate seeds. This gastronomic expedition was a glorious tribute to the artistry that forms the core of Indian cuisine.
Witnessing the grand spectacle were over 45 distinguished personalities from various fields, esteemed gazetted officers, renowned hoteliers, and a multitude of media representatives. Among our esteemed guests were ADC of Jalandhar – Varinder Pal Singh Bajwa, his wife Preeti Bajwa, DC – Anupam Kler, Nodel Officer – Dr. Surjit Pal, Counselor of MC – Aruna Arora, and the Programming Head of Radio City Jalandhar – Seema Soni.
