  1. Wax Paper

It is a wax or paraffin-coated paper, also on both sides. It has a moisture-proof and slight non-stick.

Commonly used for: Bread, sandwiches, fruit and vegetables or meat. Even between stacked food like parathas, rotis, cookies or cutlets.

Can Baking Paper Be Used in Air Fryers/OTGs?

Yes, it is safe to use baking paper in air fryer and Otg when used with the following precautions:

  • Use parchment or silicone-coated baking paper only – not wax paper.
  • Preheat the appliance first, then place the paper after food is added (prevents paper from flying or burning).
  • Do not let the paper touch heating coils.
  • Use perforated parchment sheets for better airflow in air fryers.
