Healthy Samosa Recipe 1 Ingredients:
For the dough:
- 1 cup whole wheat flour
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- A pinch of salt
- Water(as required)
For the filling:
- 2 medium-sized boiled and mashed potatoes
- 1/4 cup boiled peas
- 1 tsp cumin seeds
- 1 teaspoon olive oil
- 1 teaspoon grated ginger
- 1 finely chopped green chili
- 1 tsp dry mango powder (amchur)
- 1 tsp garam masala
- ½ teaspoon turmeric powder
- 1 tbsp finely chopped coriander leaves
- Salt to taste
Instructions:
- Mix whole wheat flour and salt in a mixing bowl.
- Addolive oil and mix into the flour until it becomes
- Slowly add warm water to make smooth and firm Cover it and let it be for 20 minutes.
- Pourolive oil in a pan and heat Once oil is heated, add cumin seeds and let them sizzle.
- Add grated ginger and green chili and sauté for a few seconds.
- Nowadd in turmeric powder, boiled potatoes, and Mash the mixture slightly.
- Addsalt, amchur (dry mango powder) and garam Garnish with fresh coriander leaves.
- Make small portions of dough and make thin and oval rolls using a rolling pin.
- Cut the oval in half to make two semi-circles.
- Makea cone from each semi-circle, fill it with the potato mixture and seal the edges by gently pressing with fingers or fork.
- Preheatyour air-fryer to 180°C (350°F), put the samosas in and grease them using a brush and air-fry for 15–18 minutes. Make sure to flip in the middle for best results.
- If you are using Oven: Preheat the oven to 180°C and air-fry for 20–25 minutes.
- Oncedone, serve hot with sauce or your favorite
Healthy Samosa Recipe 2 Ingredients:
- 300g boiled and mashed potatos
- Jumbo brown bread slices
- 1 tsp ajwain
- 1/4th tsp hing (asafoetida)
- 1 tsp kitchen king
- 1 tsp turmeric
- 1 tsp salt
- 1 tsp red chili powder
- 1 tsp chaat masala
- Oil spray
Instructions:
- Mix salt, ajwain, hing, kitchen king, chaat masala, red chili powder, and turmeric in a mixing bowl.
- Add this mixture into mashed potatoes and mix well.
- Take a slice of jumbo brown bread and cut the crust edges.
- Roll out the bread slice thinly using a rolling pin.
- Now make two rectangles by cutting rolled-out bread slices into half.
- Take one half of the bread rectangle and place a spoonful of the potato filling onto it.
- Put the other half on the filling to make a triangular shape.
- Seal the edges by using a fork or gently pressing down with your fingers.
- Repeat the same process with the remaining potato filling and bread slices.
- Preheat your air fryer at 150 degrees Celsius (300 degrees Fahrenheit)
- Lightly grease the samosas using oil spray on all sides.
- Place the samosas in the preheated air fryer and air-fry at 150 degrees Celsius (300 degrees Fahrenheit) for 15 minutes or until golden brown and crispy.
- Once done, serve hot with your favorite dipping sauce.
